Growing in Hampton Court Palace grounds is a magic BEANSTALK, the leaves and beans monstrously large, its stem as thick as a tree-trunk and so tall that the top of it is lost in the clouds.
'THE PETS' pop group stand within sight of the beanstalk and gig about Jack who climbed the beanstalk and discovered a giant living in a castle atop it. He stole the giant's gold and gave it to his poor hardworking mum. He also stole the giant's golden-harp.
The YOUNG FRIENDS, on a visit to Hampton Court, daringly climb  the massive beanstalk and fall into the clutches of the giant.

Lyrics - Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack was a lad, strong and bold.
Climbed the beanstalk after gold.
For his poor hardworking mum,
He braved the giant's tum.

A harping busker he's become,
On the streets of London town.
This is what you'll hear him sing,
'I'm ALRIGHT JACK THE BEANSTALK KING.'

Jack had the gift of the gab,
The giant's wife thought him fab!
Her heart was on him sold,
Gave to him the giant's gold.

A harping busker he's become,
On the streets of London town.
This is what you'll hear him sing,
'I'm ALRIGHT JACK THE BEANSTALK KING.'

Piled up in the giant's store,
Were stacks of gold galore.
Jack was a streetwise guy,
Set his sights SKY HIGH!

A rocker with a beat real sharp,
Jack stole the giant's golden harp.
To his mum he gave the money.
Now her life's all milk and honey.

A harping busker he's become,
On the streets of London town.
This is what you'll hear him sing,
'I'm ALRIGHT JACK THE BEANSTALK KING.'
