A merchant from twelfth century Venice transports the friends by ship to the ancient world. The ship is hi-jacked by pirates for its fabulous cargo, the dowry of a princess the merchant is escorting to Persia for her wedding to the Crown Prince.

Lyrics - Life of a Sailor

Yo heave ho! Yo heave ho!

Yo heave ho, when day is done,
The life of a sailor ain’t all rum.
When a mighty storm is lashing the deck,
And the proud old gal is a splintered wreck.

Yo heave ho! Yo heave ho!
To see the world and travel afar,
Grab a free ride as a BRITISH JACK TAR.’

Then up comes the sun and the sea is calm,
And waves curl like a gentle arm.
Songs of the sea croon on the breeze,
Recounting tales of the Seven Seas.

Yo heave ho! Yo heave ho!
To see the world and travel afar,
Grab a free ride as a BRITISH JACK TAR.

How explorers braved hell and high water,
New lands and peoples to discover.
Of notorious pirates and brigands,
That plundered treasure from rich galleons.

Yo heave ho! Yo heave ho!
To see the world and travel afar,
Grab a free ride as a BRITISH JACK TAR.

Of beautiful sirens with their songs,
Bewitching sailors into their arms.
Of Moby Dick, the great white whale,
And ‘The Ancient Mariner’s Tale’.

Yo heave ho! Yo heave ho!
To see the world and travel afar,
Grab a free ride as a BRITISH JACK TAR.

Yo heave ho! Yo heave ho!
